English rapper Dizzee Rascal has beaten fellow Englishman Tinie Tempah for the race at the top of the singles charts this week. Dizzee and James Corden’s World Cup song for England was #2 at midweeks but finally pushed Tinie off the top spot come Sunday.
‘Shout’ by Shout For England featuring Dizzee and James Corden reigns at the top while Tinie Tempah’s ‘Frisky’ enters at #2. They’re immediately followed by Somali-Canadian rapper, K’Naan with his Coca Cola World Cup anthem, ‘Wavin’ Flag’ which jumped 13 spots to #3 this week.
Completing the top 5 is last week’s #1, David Guetta with ‘Gettin’ Over You’ at #4 and Eminem’s latest hit, ‘Not Afraid’ who’s up by 1 to #5 this week.
Other World Cup themed tracks have made it into the top 40 with ‘Three Lions’ by Baddiel, Skiner & The Lightning Seeds enter at #10, New Order’s ‘World In Motion at #22 and Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’ at #38.
In the albums chart, Christina Aguilera nabs the #1 album this week with her latest LP, ‘Bionic’. She defeated Alicia Keys whose 2009 album, ‘The Element of Freedom’ who jumped 3 places on its 26th week in the countdown. She’s followed by Michael Buble, the Glee Cast and Lady GaGa at #3,4,5 respectively.


American R&B/Hip-Hop rising Star B.o.B also known as Bobby Ray nabs the #1 spot in the UK Singles Charts this week with his debut single, ‘Nothin’ On You’ featuring Hawaiian-American crooner Bruno Mars.
