MUSIC VIDEO: Ke$ha – We R Who We R

As much as I think this is way overdue. I still totally dig this track. The video as usual is still the typical Ke$ha. Still doing what she knows and does best – PARTYING. Hopefully, we’ll see Ke$ha stripped down into something more serious next time. *cough* *cough* ‘The Harold Song’ – would be totally nice. I must say.

 

MUSIC VIDEO: Cheryl Cole – The Flood

I kinda predicted the video would actually look like this because I don’t want to see another crappy studio shot video. And this I must say is Cheryl’s best yet. Pure, emotional and beautiful as usual. But her voice is still crap compared to Nadine’s. Just sayin’.

 

SINGLE REVIEW: Bruno Mars – Grenade

It’s highly justifiable that Bruno Mars is one of the best male artists to come out and shower us with amazing talent and music this year. He’s name got the biggest impact as his début single, ‘Just The Way You Are’ became a monster single and went number 1 across the globe. The Filipino-Puerto Rican crooner has a stunning voice and magnificent songwriting skills that carves into the hearts of every girl who hears him. ‘Grenade’ for example is straight to the heart with enough conviction and power to put chills running down on your spine.

‘Grenade’ – another track that speaks of his thoughts about the opposite sex but is somehow opposite to the message of ‘Just The Way You Are’. The big powerful impact of the tracks instruments has provided an extreme atmosphere to the message of the track itself. Bruno sings with enough disappointment in ‘I would go through all this pain, take a bullet strike through my brain…’ – an assuring line that he would do everything for the woman he loves and still won’t get the love he deserves. It’s kind of depressing if you’d look into it but it’s a brilliant song incorporated with an amazing vocal that gives him an assurance that he can do a lot more things than what we know. Mega.

MUSIC VIDEO: Taio Cruz feat. Kylie Minogue – Higher

British R&B sensation Taio Cruz and Australian Goddess Kylie has just bought the house down with the music video to Taio’s smashing brand new single, ‘Higher’. The collaboration which will be made available for Europe and Australia is set for a late November release.

The video’s concept isn’t what I would have imagined for the video and it certainly lacked the hype the song’s all about. It could’ve been better and yet we’re disappointed. But the track’s still awesome though!

MUSIC VIDEO: Far East Movement (feat. Ryan Tedder) – Rocketeer

Asian-American Hip-Hop group Far East Movement premieres their brand new music video for their latest single, ‘Rocketeer’ featuring OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. The single is released October 29th in the US. The band recently went #1 in the US Billboard HOT 100 with their massively overplayed track, ‘Like a G6′ making them the first Asian-American act to top the Billboard HOT 100 in its 52 year chart history.

MUSIC VIDEO: Nelly Furtado – Night Is Young

Canadian pop star and Idina Menzel’s semi-dopellganger Nelly Furtado is back! Although we’re not quite sure if this is set to be a hit or not. Not the best Nelly video we’ve seen and probably not the best single choice as well. Anyway, Nelly comes alive with a greatest hits album to be released towards the end of the year. ‘Night Is Young’ is the lead single and was released mid-October.

And watch out for Fefe Dobson’s cameo!

Music Video: Nicole Scherzinger – Poison

One word. Fierce. Miss Scherzy may just have a hit in her hands right now. Let’s just say, teaming up with RedOne is the best thing Nicole could’ve done to save her solo career. ‘Poison’ is the new single from the lead singer of the defunct yet to be renewed The Pussycat Dolls. It’s proving to be Nicole’s first ever hit if God permits.

If Christopher Nolan needs a new Catwoman, I think if he watched this video – he might just found one.

Music Video: Katy Perry – Firework

Oh well, look what we got here? It’s the brand new video from Katy Perry-Brand! In this one, she’s creative enough to exchange her whipped cream bra into an invisible wonderbra that shoots fireworks! And it looked like she’s setting a trend as a lot of people in Budapest are wearing the same thing. Magical isn’t it? Anyway, I think this is Katy’s best video yet as it embraces a lot of issues. Very touching and sense-full in terms of its story concept.

‘Firework’ is her third single off the smashing album, ‘Teenage Dream’ to be released November 15th in the UK.
