Kanye West – Heartless (Review)

It’s Kanye’s irritating attitude that placed him to be one of the most talked about music personalities in the world. His arrogance, eccentric attitude which is really irritating is quite paying off with his music. Maybe we’re immune to his cockiness but we’re definitely not over with his music. I have to admit that Kanye really produces somehow good music but the attitude has got to go off. He’s always saying that he wants to become the best but is he really going to? I don’t know about that but what I’m concerned is his new single, Heartless. The follow-up to his smash radio hit “Love Lockdown”.

Okay, enough with his attitude let’s focus on his vocals. Kanye’s vocals in the song is of course again, used with a voice enhancer ( i don’t know what that is that they use to increase the pitch of the vocals.) There’s not much a “Woah” beat going on throughout the song but it’s a cool track plunged of course with Kanye’s rap. “How could you be so heartless?” Kanye sings with compassion. Personally, I think that this is a more impressive track than “Love Lockdown”. It’s packed with piano samples and outstanding craftsmanship done by the arranger and producer of the song. It’s very much going to be a more favourable radio hit than the other one but it’s specifically not that SUPER impressive as he did with “Stronger”. Overall, it’s a good follow-up and has a descent sound. Not my favourite Kanye West song but will do for now. Let’s wait for his new album “808’s and Heartbreaks” which is set for a November 24 release.

NOTE: The cover is pathetic.
