Grime star, Dizzee Rascal knocks off “Boom Boom Pow” at the top spot of the UK singles charts this week with his collab with Armand Van Helden called “Bonkers“.

La Roux plunged to #6 with “In For The Kill” while Tinchy moved to #3 from #2 last week and Eminem maintained his #4 spot with “We Made You”.

Second biggest gainer in the top 40 is Australian crooner Daniel Merriweather who enjoys his first top 5 hit this week with the ballad “Red“. His first single to reach the top 10 was “Change” which scored a #7 finish when it charted last February – March? His debut album “Love & War” is set for a June 1 release.
Eurovision 2009 champ, Alexander Rybak sees his winning single at #10 defeating fellow Eurovision contender, Jade Ewen who is the representative of the UK. Jade’s single “It’s My Time” enters the top 40 at #27.

In the albums chart, Eminem rules with his new LP, “Relapse“. It knocked off former #1 “21st Century Breakdown” by Green Day after ruling the charts with just 1 week.

“Candy” is a grower on me these days but I still can’t seem to find that same likability I had when he released his first material.
