UK Charts: Taio cruises past Madonna and Guetta, Muse reigns albums chart

I miss my charts very much. LOL.

British R&B Singer-songwriter Taio Cruz cruises past David Guetta’s “Sexy Bitch” and Madonna’s comeback single, “Celebration” to debut at #1 in the UK Singles Charts this Sunday.

Cruz’s new single, “Break Your Heart” marched up to #1 while the Guetta-Akon collab remained at #2. Madonna on the other hand, suffered a disappointing #3 with her latest single off from her “Greatest Hits” collection “Celebration”.

Latina songstress Shakira also made an impact this week with her smashing, bone-braking tune, “She Wolf”. It jumped 21 places this week to settle for #4.

Pop Star Pixie Lott, suffered a terrible tumble when she hit #1 last week. The songstress, whose debut album “Turn It Up” is out, gave a disappointing #6 finish for both singles and albums chart.

Noticeable entries in the top 40 are from Paramore with “Ignorance” (#14), Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with “Empire State of Mind” (#15) and Paloma Faith’s “New York” (#21)

Meanwhile, in the albums chart Muse’s latest LP, “The Resistance” knocks up Vera Lynn to capture the UK albums chart #1 spot. Peter Andre’s LP settled for #3 while Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3”, David Gray’s “Draw The Line” and Pixie Lott’s “Turn It Up” settled for #4,5,6 respectively.

I don't think that the Madonna song was disappointing on the UK SINGLES CHART, was more than the song deserv and i think that was very good.
While about Shakira, i think that was great! i think that the song could be #1 in every countries. That's it"
