DAILY BEAT: Keane feat. K’naan – Stop for a Minute

Finally. One of my favourite English bands are back! Yes people, they have a new single. ‘Stop For A Minute’ is the first single off their fourth record, ‘Night Train’ which will be released May 10th. The track features Somali-Canadian hip-hop artist K’Naan. The track was released digitally April 5th in the United Kingdom and April 11th in the United States.

‘Stop For A Minute’ is something that you would crave about for a band like Keane. It’s a piano-driven hip-hop infused track that somehow becomes a mixture of 2 styles that worked perfectly. The addition of K’naan to the track totally complements Tom Chaplin’s vocals. The track is totally radio friendly as it carries an astounding sample that would be totally stuck in your head and make you listen to the track the whole day. It absolutely looks like that Keane has something up on their sleeves as the band described the forthcoming LP, it’s a mix of different elements that make up Keane as an artist. Well, we all think it’s good right?
