UK Charts: Dizzee Rascal snatches #1 from B.o.B, Pendulum has #1 album

Brit Grime rapper Dizzee Rascal snatches the #1 spot from American rapper B.o.B  with his spanking new single, ‘Dirtee Disco’. The Londoner defeated B.o.B’s ‘Nothin’ On You’ and another new entry, Virgin Islander Iyaz’ second UK single, ‘Solo’.

Iyaz settles for a #3 debut with ‘Solo’ while Jason Derulo and new entry Eminem complete the top 5 with ‘Ridin Solo’ and ‘Not Afraid’ respectively.

N-Dubz returns to the top 10 spotlight as their latest single, ‘We Dance On’ – a collaboration with UK dance outfit Bodyrox enters the charts at #6. The track is included in the smashing soundtrack of the UK dance movie, ‘StreetDance’.

Other new entries in the top 40 include Canadian-Somali rapper K’Naan with his world cup song ‘Wavin’ Flag’ (#16), Danielle Hope with ‘Over The Rainbow’ (#29), Keri Hilson with ‘I Like’ (#34), and Lady GaGa’s ‘Alejandro’ (#40)

In the albums chart, Australian now UK based electro rockers Pendulum celebrates as they hit the #1 spot with their sophomore album, ‘Immersion’ beating Michael Buble and the Glee Cast in the top 3.
